Tackling Climate Change after Montreal

Navhind Times on the Web: Opinions: "THE world can breathe a sigh of relief, if only, that the leaders of more than 150 countries agreed at the Montreal climate conference to hold talks to combat global warming. This means that the endangered Kyoto Protocol, agreed under the landmark 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (FCCC), is secure, despite a dogged and irrational opposition from the United States, which accounts for 24 per cent of the world’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions."
